Fellowship Participants![]() Ari RudenkoExecutive & Artistic Director Ari Dharminalan Rudenko is an interdisciplinary choreographer and artistic director based in Central Java, Indonesia, and the founder of Prehistoric Body Theater, a company that fuses dance-theater with paleontology in collaboration with a core team of indigenous Indonesian dancers and an international panel of mentor scientists. Originally from the US San Juan Islands, Ari has been an active cultural researcher and generative artist in Indonesia since 2012. Ari’s academic background includes an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College and an ongoing Ph.D. in Dance Creation Studies at the Art Institute of Indonesia Surakarta.
